A) MyBill
View PDF copy of your monthly SingTel bill for the last six months. If you are not on eBill, please register with us at https://mybill.singtel.com before setting up your ONEPASS profile on the iPhone.

B) MyMobile(iPhone only)
You can:
-Check your handset upgrade eligibility
-View your Mobile Service and Value Added Services detail

C) Data Usage
Check latest local and roaming data usage record wherever you are.
You can:
-Avoid bill shock by checking data usage on-the-go
-Manage alert notification via SMS or email when your local data usage reaches 90% of your usage limit(iPhone only)

Note: data usage record will be updated once a day and the data may vary from your actual SingTel bill.

D) Roaming
With DataRoam Saver, you can now enjoy data roaming on the communicated network at a fixed rate per plan coverage period (1 day, 3 days, 5 days).
You can subscribe up to 7 days prior to your trip and to check your data roaming usage, set your usage limits, alert settings!

1. How do I “add” new contact? Where do I find the “add” contact function?

a. You don’t need to re-create your friends contact in WheresApp. This application allows sharing the contacts in the phonebook. New user can be created into your local phonebook and you will see the new contact appear automatically in the application after successful addition.

2. How to change my profile name?

a. Tap on “Buddies” bar and “My Profile” bar. You can edit profile picture and name to suit your needs.

3. Why the applications take so long to load traffic image?

a. Please check your internet connection to ensure you are connected on GRPS. The traffic camera images loading depending on your internet connection speed conditions.

4. Why I cannot receive push notification?

a. a. Please go to phone settings



b. Tap on “Notification” option.



c. Tap on “WheresApp” selection.



d. Make sure all the options are checked.

5. Why I cannot see the person online after I have added the person into my phonebook?

a. The other person might not have your contact number in his/her phonebook. You can send him/her a sms from the application and invite him to be your buddy.

6. I am not able to save route, why is this the case?

a. A “Save Route” feature refers to Traffic cameras along the requested routes. WheresApp does not allow user to “save route” if there is no traffic cameras along the route.

7. Do I need 3G connections to use this application?

a. NO. WheresApp works on GPRS and wireless (private) network. However, it is recommended to use 3G network for greater user experience and response time when messaging, viewing traffic information and Map activities.

8. Why I cannot see my friends on the map?

a. The other party has not shared his location to you. You can send an “invite” or nudge him to request him to share his location.

9. I see “Force Close” popup window on my screen. What should I do?

a. Tap on “force close” button and launch your application again. If this problem persists, user can do a soft-reset on the device (power off and power on the phone).

10. How to restart/stop WheresApp on Android

a. Press the properties soft key on the device and tap on the settings of your screen.

Tap on “Applications” as shown below:



Tap on “Manage Applications”



Under “Manage applications”, tap running tab as shown in the image below



Select the application you want to stop from running and tap over its name on the phone



Tap on “Force stop” to stop the application from running or “Uninstall” the application to delete the client as shown below:



11. Would WheresApp corrupt my local phonebook?

a. NO. WheresApp only have read access rights to the phonebook and will not amend the phonebook data.

12. Can I create a new group on top of the existing default groups?

a. Not available for the current release.

13. Can I connect to my home wireless router for using wheresapp?

a. Yes

14. Can I use Wheresapp outside Singapore?

a. Yes. Overseas data roaming charges apply. However, when using WheresApp oversea, all traffic information will not be available.

15. Where are the WheresApp Traffic data sources from?

a. All the traffic data sources are provided by LTA. Traffic Images are refreshing in every 30 seconds.

16. Can I use WheresApp as car navigation system while driving?

a. WheresApp is not a in car navigation application. The traffic cameras serve as traffic reference to check on road condition along major highways and roads that have installed with traffic cameras.

a. Supports devices installed with Android 2.1 and above (except for 2.3 soon to be available ).
b. Supports devices installed with iOS 4.0 to 4.2

19. What are the main features of WheresApp?

a. WheresApp is an instant messaging application with amazing control over when & who you want to share your location with. You can set yourself invisible if you do not want your location to be known.
b. Your buddy list is automatically populated as unregistered users from your phonebook. All you have to do is to send a one-click SMS invite to your friends to download WheresApp client, if they have not installed yet.
c. When you want to start a conversation with someone and don’t know where, how to start; you can just 'Nudge' the person. When you see buddies around you that you want to catch up with for a cup of coffee, click on “Meet-Me” features to invite them at the intended meeting point.
d. Allow you to social network with different groups of friends easily by maintaining different group chats.
