Email to Fax

Compose a new message as you would for any normal email. In the "To: " field, key in the fax number in this format:

Country Code → Area code → Fax Number @ipfax.faxp.com

e.g. Local Fax Number: 656733036@ipfax.faxp.com.
or Overseas Fax Number: 61712345678@ipfax.faxp.com.

Add the document to be faxed as an attachment to the email, and send the email.

Web to Fax

Go to the FaxPlus Connect website at http://fpconnect.faxp.com.
Log on using the user ID and password provided when you registered.
Select the “Send Web Fax” option to send a fax.

General

  1. What is internet Faxing?

    2. Internet Faxing allows you to use your dial-up or LAN connection to the Internet to send faxes.

  2. Why is it better?

    3. With FaxPlus Connect, you eliminate the costs by laser fax machine and cartridges from your email client. Save by paying only for traffic charges.

  3. Can anyone in my company have FaxPlus Connect at their desktop?

    4. Yes, individuals can set up their own accounts by registering each user with FaxPlus Connect.

  4. Can I send and view faxes if I'm travelling and using someone else's computer?

    5. Yes. All you need is an Internet connection and browser. Web2Fax allows you to fill a form/type a fax and send it using only the browser. You need not download the client software.
    To receive faxes, just check your Inbox for email messages from FaxPlus Connect homepage.

  5. The Internet is free, so why must I pay to send faxes?

    6. Internet fax is a value-added service, like website hosting. When you send a hard copy fax, you pay the Telephone Company to deliver it. When you send an Internet fax, you pay a small amount to defray the cost of a local phone call, and to fund the equipment investment and operating costs. It’s still cheaper, more convenient and more powerful than traditional faxing.

  6. How long must I wait for the account to be ready?

    7. Accounts are normally activated within 4 working days.

  7. When I use Email2Fax or Web2Fax, what is the maximum size of the document that I can attach?

    8. The maximum size of the attachment is 3 MB.

  8. What is the capacity of the Inbox?

    9. The current Inbox capacity is 10 MB (350 A4 pages based on an average of 30 KB per A4 page).

  9. How long are documents kept in the Inbox?

    10. Each document is kept in the Inbox for 3 days. The system will automatically delete the documents on the 4th day. However, as all faxes received are also forwarded to the owner's Inbox email account, the faxes can still be retrieved from the email account.

  10. What happens when the Inbox is full?

    11. You will receive an email notification when your inbox is full. If the Inbox is full, new faxes cannot be sent to the Inbox.

  11. How do I view documents in the Inbox?

    12. You can view documents by using the FaxPlus Connect Web Kiosk or by directing the fax to an email client and viewing it with any imaging software.

  12. What software do I need for viewing fax documents?

    13. Netscape 4.05 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 (or later versions).

  13. Can I select my Inbox number?

    14. No, SingTel assigns the number to you.

  14. Can I forward a received fax to a fax machine or to another email account?

    15. Yes. Log on at the FaxPlus Connect website and key in the fax number or email address that you want the fax to be forwarded to.

Usage Charges for Outgoing Faxes:

Traffic to all destinations listed is based on per second charge (except local traffic) or per page depending on Fax2Fax or PC2Fax (Web2Fax and Email2Fax). All local Fax2Fax traffic is based on per minute charge and PC2Fax (Web2Fax and Email2Fax) is based on per page charge. Standard rates apply from 7am - 8.59pm and economy rates apply from 9.00pm -6.59am. For all traffic charges, the time of delivery is taken from the time the call is actually sent by FaxPlus Connect and the actual call duration is based on FaxPlus Connect's duration. All rates and charges except International and Malaysia Traffic charges are subjected to the Goods & Services Tax (GST) under the GST Act. A list of FaxPlus Connect destinations and the respective rates are as below:
