| 1. Definition What is mio Plan? mio Plan is a 24-month service plan comprising of SingTel Mobile SingNet Broadband, and SingTel Fixed Telephone Line Service. Customers can also opt for mio Voice, which offers unlimited local calls, if they choose to do so. What are the exclusive benefits and discounts that I will enjoy? You will be able to enjoy 12 months mobile handset upgrade (only applicable for 1st key line). You will also get to enjoy exclusive mobile multi line discounts, free integrated wireless modem, 10% discount on mio TV content and 15% off on v019 mobile (your 1st key line) and fixed line discount. 2. Eligibility Who is eligible for mio Plan? mio Plan is open to all new and existing SingTel customers with less than 6 months balance contract period for SingTel Fixed Line, SingTel Mobile and SingNet BroadBand services. Customers with existing SingTel Fixed Line, SingTel Mobile and SingNet BroadBand registered under their FIN/Passport are encouraged to sign up for mio Plan to enjoy bundle savings from mio Plan. If I am a SingNet Dial-up customer, can I take up mio Plan? Yes. However you have to upgrade your current SingNet Dial-Up account to a SingNet BroadBand account which is part of the mio Plan. Are corporate managed accounts, CIS customer or staff schemes eligible? a. mio Plan is not offered to BRN customers. For SME, they will have to sign up for the national promo under their own FIN/Passport to be eligible for mio Plan. b. CIS customers will not be eligible for mio Plan. If they wish to apply for mio Plan, they will need to transfer their accounts to be under their own FIN/Passport. I am neither a Singaporean nor permanent resident. Can I sign up mio Plan and do I need to pay for any deposits? Yes. A foreigner is able to sign up for mio Plan service if he/she holds an Employment Pass, work permit or Dependent Pass. All passes must have a minimum validity of 12 months and the customer must also produce a tenancy letter agreement or any other forms of agreement reflecting residential address upon signup. Deposits are applicable depending on the number of services that he/she is currently subscribed to. Please refer to the table below for amount of deposit required. Yes, as long as the remaining services have less than 6 months remaining contract, and you will have to sign up for a SingTel Fixed Line. I have both SingTel Fixed Line and SingNet BroadBand subscription but my mobile subscription is registered under my company's name. Am I eligible for mio Plan? Your mobile subscription needs to be registered under the same FIN/Passport as your SingTel Fixed Line and SingNet BroadBand subscriptions. Therefore, you will need to transfer your company's mobile line to your FIN/Passport. Would I enjoy any mobile privileges if I sign up for mio Plan? You would still be able to enjoy mobile annual handset upgrade and 15% off V019 rates on your mobile key line. I understand that my SingTel Mobile / SingNet BroadBand line is currently on a promotional rate. Will I be eligible for further discount on mio Plan? mio Plan is offered at a special rate and there will be no further promotion on the packages. You can choose to continue with your existing promotional SingTel Mobile/SingNet BroadBand line or to take up mio Plan price plans. Do I have to purchase a handset if I sign up for mio Plan? Yes, you have to purchase the handset when you sign up for mio Plan Will I get any premiums if I sign up for mio Plan? Yes, you will be entitled the mobile handset at CI2 price and a FREE mio Box. How long can I enjoy the free VASes? You will enjoy the free VAS/s bundled with your mio Plan as long as you are still subscribed to mio Plan. However, if there are other VAS/s you wish to subscribe, you can apply for the additional VAS/s during application. 4. What happens if I wish to terminate one of the services before my contract ends? Will I still enjoy mio Plan bundled price plan? As you have terminated one of the services before your mio Plan contract ends, you would be considered that you have terminated your mio Plan contract prematurely. You will no longer enjoy mio Plan price plan and benefits. Your remaining service or services will be subjected to a default rate with the contractual end date following your original mio Plan contract end date. Upon termination of any service/services within mio Plan, your existing services will be reverted to the default pricing indicated in the table below. Can I suspend my mobile line instead of the entire mio Plan? Yes, you can choose to TOS one or two services under mio Plan. But the monthly subscription still applies. 5. Change of Plans What happens if I upgrade/downgrade within the same or between different mio Plan groups? You will pay a downgrade charge, depending on your plan. If you downgrade your plan during the term of the contract, downgrade charges apply. Actual charges will be calculated based on the following formula: (Downgrade charge ÷ Contract Period) x Number of Remaining Months (including the month in which termination occurs) When will the change of plan take effect? Depending on the service(s) you change, service activation for SingTel Mobile plans take 1 day to be effective while service activation for SingNet BroadBand plan may take 4-9 days to be effective. Can I do a transfer of mio Plan anytime during my contract period? Yes, you can transfer you mio Plan ownership at any point of your contract period and the transferee will continue with the balance of the mio Plan contract period. Do I have to pay any charges if I need to transfer my mio Plan ownership? Yes, you will need to pay a fee of $21.40 (with 7% GST) if you wish to transfer your mio Plan ownership to another party. Does the owner of mio Plan need to be present when doing the transfer? Yes. Both the Transferor and Transferee are required to walk in with relevant documents (both original FIN/Passport) when doing a transfer of ownership. Where can I do a transfer of mio Plan? Transfer of ownership can only be done at hello! outlets. No call-in request will be entertained. |
