SingTel Box Office allows SingTel Mobile Subscribers to book tickets via the mobile phone in an easy and hassle free way. :

- How do I sign up for this service?
First, you have to install the application on your mobile phone. To do so, Dial *2665 (*BOOK). You will receive an SMS with a WAP Link. Click on the WAP link (Data charges are waived) and then click the ‘Download’ button. Then install the application on your phone.
Once installed, you can start using the service.

You must use IDEAS WAP Access Point to get connected to this service. Please make sure you have set your GPRS connection via this Access Point.
You can book up to 10 tickets for each booking transaction. If you require more tickets, you will need to initiate another transaction.
A Booking Confirmation page will show after your transaction is made. It will contain your Confirmation Number and details of your transaction like seat numbers. You will also receive a confirmation SMS. Note: The Confirmation SMS will be delivered at the quickest time possible with accordance to network coverage and SMS traffic. If you do not receive it, please check your transaction history to check your transaction status.
You have to go to the Online Booking Counter of the location where you booked your tickets Eg. Cineleisure Online Booking Counter. Please bring along the credit card which you have used to make that transaction. Your credit card will be used to collect your tickets purchased. Please turn up at least one (1) hour before the movie screening commences to retrieve your bookings as crowds and queues are unpredictable and to avoid missing the start of the movie.
You will be charged if the transaction was successful. To see this, please go to ‘Transaction History’ in the main menu and you will be able to see whether the transaction was successful or unsuccessful.
Yes. The application is secured by Verisign (www.verisign.com.sg). When your transaction is being made, a secure connection is established with the ticketing system so your personal information is safe. The application also does not keep any of your personal information including your credit card details. You will be required to key in your credit card credentials every time you make a transaction.
You can use this service to buy tickets for all Cathay cinemas as well as movies showing at these cinemas, unless the tickets for that particular show are been sold out.
You can use any Visa, MasterCard or AMEX card to make payment for this service. The booking fee will be charged directly to your mobile bill.
Try to exit the application and restart it again. If the problem persists, your GPRS settings may not be configured properly. Please activate your GPRS/WAP settings.
No. All tickets purchased and confirmed are non-refundable. The booking fee will also not be refunded as the transaction has already taken place.
Terms and Conditions for SingTel Box Office
1. Incorporation by reference
In addition to the General Terms, the Specific Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy (which terms and conditions are deemed incorporated by reference), the Customer shall be bound by the following Terms and Conditions for SingTel Mobile’s SingTel Box Office service (the “SingTel Box Office Terms”).
2. Definitions and Interpretation
2.1 In these SingTel Box Office Terms, the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings:
"Acceptable Use Policy" means SingTel Mobile’s Acceptable Use Policy (http://info.singtel.com/terms-mobile-aup), being the guidelines for acceptable conduct and use of the Service, including all subsequent revisions or amendments.
"Customer" means any customer of SingTel Mobile who subscribes for and/or uses the Service.
“General Terms” means Singapore Telecommunications Limited’s General Terms and Conditions of Service and Billing Terms. Details at: http://info.singtel.com/terms-general
“Mobile Device” means a compatible mobile handset that the Customer needs to access the Service.
“Merchant” means the person who provides the service of entertainment and/or activity whose products and/or services are sold through the Service.
“Merchant Products” means the products and/or services purchased by a Customer through the Service.
“Service” means the SingTel Box Office service which enables the Customer to purchase the Merchant Products using a Mobile Device.
“SingTel Mobile” means Singapore Telecom Mobile Private Limited and its successors.
“Specific Terms” means Specific Terms and Conditions of SingTel Mobile. Details at: http://info.singtel.com/terms-mobile and any other specific terms and conditions of service that are applicable in relation to the value added services used by the Customer.
2.2 The words and expressions used in these SingTel Box Office Terms that are defined in the General Terms, the Specific Terms and/or the Acceptable Use Policy but are not defined in these SingTel Box Office Terms, shall have the same meanings as defined in the General Terms, the Specific Terms and/or the Acceptable Use Policy, unless the context otherwise requires.
2.3 The headings or titles to the Clauses in these SingTel Box Office Terms are to facilitate reference and shall not be referred to or relied upon in the construction of any provision of these SingTel Box Office Terms.
3. Registration
3.1 No registration for the Service is required.
3.2 The Customer may use the Service immediately after the Customer has completed the installation of the necessary application onto a Mobile Device in accordance with any instructions provided.
4. Termination
4.1 No termination of the Service is required. Customer can stop using the Service subject to any applicable charges for transactions made using the Service.
5. Use of Service
5.1 The Customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- the Service is offered to the Customer on an "as is" basis;
- the Customer is responsible for obtaining access to the Service and complying with these SingTel Box Office Terms;
- use of the Service is deemed to be acceptance of these SingTel Box Office Terms;
- SingTel Mobile assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, adequacy, integrity, safety or legality of the information given by the Merchant or for the service standards offered by the Merchant;
- SingTel Mobile is in no way responsible for any of the Merchant Products sold or purchased using the Service;
- the Customer is responsible for all content that the Customer downloads, transmits or otherwise makes available by accessing and/or using the Service;
- seat selection is subject to the availability of the seats as determined by the Merchant;
- SingTel Mobile reserves the right at its absolute discretion to discontinue and/or suspend the Service without any liability whatsoever to the Customer;
- SingTel Mobile is in no way responsible for any credit card transactions involved in the purchase of Merchant Products using the Service;
- certain information, content, functions and/or promotions which are made available by the Merchant through any other medium may not be available under the Service; and
- the Merchant may impose from time to time certain terms and conditions in relation to the Merchant Products including but not limited to conditions of admission.
5.2 The Customer shall comply with all applicable laws including copyright laws when using the Service and ensure that no unauthorized material or content is obtained, stored, copied, distributed, used or misused in any manner without the consent of SingTel Mobile and/or the Merchant. The Customer shall bear the sole responsibility for use of the Service and all material or content transmitted, downloaded or stored through use of the Service.
5.3 The Customer acknowledges and agrees that he shall not use the Service in any manner which may adversely affect SingTel Mobile’s network, other Customers’ use of the Service or any other service provided by SingTel Mobile, as SingTel Mobile may reasonably determine.
5.4 The Customer shall ensure that the Mobile Device is compatible with the Service. SingTel Mobile shall not be responsible to the Customer for any failure of the Mobile Device to access and/or use the Service.
6. Fees and Charges
6.1 The Customer will be charged a fee for every successful purchase of Merchant Products made using the Service (“Transaction Fee”). The Transaction Fee shall be as determined by SingTel Mobile and notified to the Customer from time to time.
6.2 The Transaction Fee will be charged directly to the Customer’s monthly subscription bill.
6.3 SingTel Mobile shall not be responsible for the billing of the price of the Merchant Products.
6.4 Prevailing data charges (as may be decided by SingTel Mobile from time to time) shall be incurred for the downloading of the application and usage of the Service unless otherwise notified.
7. Service Limitations and Disclaimers
7.1 The Customer acknowledges that Service availability is subject to:
- availability of a SingTel Mobile SIM card;
- availability of supported Mobile Devices;
- availability of a suitable network infrastructure at the time when the Service is requested or delivered; and
- geographic and technical capability of the SingTel Mobile network and of SingTel Mobile’s delivery systems at the time and location when the Service is requested or delivered.
7.2 The Customer further acknowledges and accepts that SingTel Mobile:
- expressly excludes any guarantee, representation, warranty, condition, term or undertaking of any kind, express or implied, statutory or otherwise or any representations or warranties arising from usage or custom or trade or by operation of law, including (without limitation) as to the sequence, originality, correctness, completeness, accuracy, timelines, completeness, currency, non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose in relation to the Service;
- shall not be liable to the Customer for any loss, liability, costs, damage, claim or compensation whatsoever (whether direct, indirect or consequential) in respect of any matter of whatever nature and howsoever arising (whether in tort, negligence or otherwise) in connection with the provision and/or use of the Service; and
- to the fullest extent permitted by law exclude all warranties, rights and remedies (including warranties implied by statute or otherwise) that the Customer would otherwise be entitled to by law.
7.3 SingTel Mobile does not warrant that the Service will satisfy the Customer's requirements or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free or that defects in the Service will be corrected or that the Service will not damage or interfere with other services or features of the Mobile Device. No warranty is given that the Service us free from any virus or other malicious, destructive or corrupting code or program.
8. Consent to Use and Disclose Information and Data
8.1 The Customer agrees that SingTel Mobile shall be entitled to use or disclose any information or data disclosed by the Customer in accordance with Clause 15 of the General Terms. The Customer is entitled to withdraw such consent according to the procedure as prescribed by SingTel Mobile from time to time.
9. General
9.1 The Customer shall be bound by and shall fully observe and comply with all the General Terms, the Specific Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy as well as such other terms and conditions as may be agreed or accepted by the Customer. The rights and protections conferred on SingTel Mobile under these SingTel Box Office Terms shall be additional to the rights and protections conferred on SingTel Mobile under the General Terms, the Specific Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy and any other terms and conditions agreed or accepted by the Customer.
9.2 Any Clause in the General Terms, the Specific Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or any other terms and conditions as may be agreed or accepted by the Customer, that is invalid, unenforceable or illegal shall be enforced as nearly as possible in accordance with its terms, but shall otherwise be deemed severed and shall not affect the enforceability of any other Clauses, which Clauses shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9.3 SingTel Mobile reserves the right to alter, modify, add to or otherwise vary these SingTel Box Office Terms from time to time in such manner as SingTel Mobile deems appropriate. The Customer shall be bound by the terms and conditions so amended. In any event, if the Customer continues to use the Service after such amendment, the Customer shall be deemed to have accepted the amendments.
