Click on the link in the SMS received and select IDEAS WAP as the access point.

To search for traffic conditions, enter a road name in the input box and click SEARCH.

Plan My Route

Step1:
Click on more under Plan My Route to check the estimated travelling time and ERP cost to drive from point A to point B.
Step 2:
Enter the names of your start location and destination and click Submit.

Step 3:
You will be prompted to view the route either via the Fastest Route or Cheapest Route. Select your options and click Submit.

To pre-configure routes and set alerts:

iPhone users

  • Go to SingTel IDEAS portal
  • Click on TrafficLIVE
  • Go to My Alerts

Other phone users

  • Dial *GUIDE(*48433 )
  • Reply SMS with “1” for TrafficLIVE.
  • Click on the WAP link
  • Go to My Alerts

To check alerts for saved routes:

  • SMS ROUTE NAME to 79120, e.g. SMS WORK to 79120

  1. What is TrafficLIVE?

    TrafficLIVE is available on all WAP phones and has various features which can be accessed on a Pay-Per-Use (On demand) basis or on a subscription basis. Below are the features:

    On Demand

    • Search traffic conditions on a particular road
    • Plan your route:
    1. Fastest – traffic-aware route based on real-time traffic conditions.
    2. Cheapest – based on ERP costs.

    Subscription

    • Search traffic conditions on a particular road
    • Plan your route:
    1. Fastest – traffic-aware route based on real-time traffic conditions
    2. Cheapest – based on ERP costs
    • Pre-configure regularly used routes (e.g. home to work)
    • Set SMS alerts for pre-configured routes you can receive these alerts at the time of day that you define.

  2. Are there any charges for TrafficLIVE service?

    3. The service is available at a monthly subscription of $3.21 (w/GST), with unlimited request for traffic information. Non-subscriber can also access the service at $0.21 per request.

  3. How do I access TrafficLIVE service?

    4. Simply dial *GUIDE (*48433 ) on your mobile phone and call. You will receive a SMS. Reply “1” for TrafficLIVE. You will receive an SMS with WAP URL to access TrafficLIVE portal.

    iPhone users can also access TrafficLIVE service via SingTel IDEAS portal -> SingTel Service -> TrafficLIVE.

  4. Do I need any special handset to access TrafficLIVE service?

    5. TrafficLIVE service is only available 3G users and WAP supported handsets. You will need a 3G SIM card and a mobile phone that allows you to access the 3G network.

    iPhone users can also access TrafficLIVE service via SingTel IDEAS portal -> SingTel Service -> TrafficLIVE.

  5. Do I need to download any client on my mobile phone?

    6. There’s no need to download any client on your mobile phone as this is a WAP service.

    7. You will need to access TrafficLIVE service via IDEAS WAP, there won’t be any data charges.

Applicable to all SingTel Mobile Postpaid customers. Free 30 days subscription for first time signup. Prevailing monthly subscription fee of $3.21 will apply thereafter. All prevailing SMS charges apply under the current respective plans with SingTel Mobile. For more information, please call 1688. Prices stated above are inclusive of 7% GST.
