Price Pal is a mobile application that compares pricing by retrieving product information and user reviews through a bar code or text search function. Customers simply scan the product barcode using their phone camera and the application will immediately search and display the prices of the product sold in retail stores.
Price Pal is currently available for the following categories of items: books (with user reviews), groceries and petrol. Price Pal is compatible with iPhone 3GS and Android 1.6 and above.
How to use
Step 1: Choose the type of product which you wish to scan for
Step 2: Hold the camera a distance away from the barcode and ensure the code is within the designated area. Note - The barcode should be against a non-reflective, non-shaded surface for ease of capturing data

Why am i not able to scan a barcode?
1. Product may not be available in the data base. Please help to contribute the barcode, product image and price of books or Groceries to Price Pal. Price Pal will only accept submission from Singapore based book stores or supermarket.
2. Do hold the product away from glare or shaded area.
