The Sony SmartWatch 2 is only available for customers who have successfully pre-ordered. However you will still receive the launch premium of a Sony Smartband worth $138 with your Sony Xperia™ Z2 purchase. Launch premium is available while stocks last.

When is the Sony Xperia™ Z2 available for island-wide sales at Singtel shops and Singtel Exclusive Retailers?

Sony Xperia™ Z2 is available for island-wide sales at our Singtel shops and Exclusive Retailers from 5 April 2014. Stock is available on a first-come-first-served basis subject to stock availability.

How do I redeem for my Sony SmartBand?

The Sony Smartband SWR10 may only be redeemed from Friday, 25th April to Sunday, 25th May 2014 from 11am – 8pm at:

The original redemption voucher and Xperia™ Z2 purchase receipt must be produced along with your NRIC to redeem the smartband. Only one (1) smartband can be redeemed with each original redemption voucher. Redemptions are only available while stocks last. Should the original exclusive (SWR10) be out of stock, Sony and the network operators reserve the right to replace it with another item of equivalent or higher value without prior notice. Photocopies and redemption vouchers that have been tampered with will not be accepted. Lost redemption vouchers will not be replaced. This voucher is strictly non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash. This voucher is not valid with any other promotions or discount vouchers.

I would like to re-contract and purchase the Sony Xperia™ Z2. How can I check my re-contract eligibility?

You can check your re-contract eligibility via the following modes:

  1. My Singtel App
    • Open My Singtel App and log in with your ONEPass ID and password.
    • Under Usage tab, click on “View My Plan” to view your handset upgrade eligibility date under “Recontract Status” portion.
  2. * 1688
    • Dial * 1688 on your mobile phone.
    • Reply with option '2' to check your handset upgrade eligibility.
    • A reply via SMS will be sent to your mobile phone shortly.
  3. Singtel My Account
    • Log in to Singtel My Account with your ONEPass ID and password.
    • At the Account Summary landing page, click on "Show details and usage" at the bottom of the selected mobile number to see your handset upgrade eligibility date under the “Eligible for recontract” portion.

All 3 modes to check re-contract eligibility is applicable for all existing Singtel mobile customers including CIS and Corporate customers.

What kind of SIM card does the Sony Xperia™ Z2 use? Will there be any SIM card charge?

The Sony Xperia™ Z2 uses a Micro SIM and/or NFC SIM. Change of SIM will be required for existing Singtel Mobile customers who are on a standard USIM. Prevailing SIM card charges apply.

I am eligible to re-contract my mobile line. Can I re-contract on my existing mobile plan with Sony Xperia™ Z2?

Customers are only eligible to re-contract into the prevailing new-tiered plans.

Why must I change my existing older plans (e.g. Classic / iOne SuperValue / iOneValue / iOnePlus) to Data-Bundled Plans when I re-contract my mobile line?

Sony Xperia™ Z2 comes ready for 4G service and 4G surfing speed is up to 5 times than the usual data speed, thus it is advisable for customer to have a plan with data bundled to avoid bill shock. Switching to Data-Bundled Plans also allow you to enjoy a better value for your handset purchase and monthly subscription.
