How tos

1 How does Outgoing Call Screening work?

Outgoing Call Screening can be used to prevent calls to:

  • Up to 10 specific telephone, mobile phone or pager numbers.
  • A selected group of numbers by presetting only one number.

If you preset '1' only in the list, all numbers beginning with '1' such as 1711, 1609, 1626, 1800-xxxxxxx, 1900-xxxxxxx, will be barred.

If you preset a series of numbers such as '6838' you will not be able to call any numbers beginning with '6838 xxxx' .

To block any overseas calls, preset the first and only number to be '0' as all overseas access begins with '0'.

To prevent calls to mobile phones/pagers, you should only preset the specific mobile phone/pager numbers. By presetting '9' as the first and only number, you will block essential services such as 999 and 995.

After presetting the list of telephone numbers, you will need to activate the service.
