  1. Why do I have to pre-register and book an appointment to purchase the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus?

    SingTel has started this pre-registration as we are aware of the strong interest from our valued customers. Due to limited availability, we would like to ensure customers can get hold of the handset in the fastest time possible.

    Regular updates will be provided to customers who have pre-registered so that they are informed on how they can book an appointment and purchase the handset at our launch event. Only customers who have pre-registered with us will be able to proceed with the booking of appointment.

    Below is the flow on how you could get your iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus with Combo Plans.
    Step 1 Pre-register with us via www.singtel.com/iphone
    Step 2 An email and SMS will be sent to those whom have pre-registered, once appointment booking is open.
    Step 3 Book an appointment slot during the specific appointment booking period.
    Step 4 Come down to the launch event and make your purchase during your scheduled appointment slot.

  2. I would like to re-contract and purchase the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus with EasyMobile Plans. Do I need to preregister too?

    For EasyMobile customers, you can purchase your devices directly on the EasyMobile site once the devices are available. Devices will be delivered on your selected date of delivery. There is no need for you to pre-register or go through the appointment booking process.

  3. Will I be guaranteed a set after I have pre-registered?

    By pre-registering, we will keep you posted on the new offers and information relating to the launch of the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus with SingTel. However, this is not a confirmation of purchase.

  4. I have multiple mobile lines under my name. Can I pre-register for all of them?

    You only need to pre-register once using your NRIC or FIN details. We will keep you updated on the next steps to owning an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.

  5. Can I change my pre-registration details to another person?

    The pre-registration details cannot be changed. You may wish to ask the individual to pre-register with his/her details to receive regular updates on how to book an appointment and purchase the iPhone 6.

  6. I am interested in both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Do I need to pre-register twice?

    You only need to pre-register once using your NRIC or FIN details. We will keep you updated on the next steps to owning an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.

  7. I have pre-registered for iPhone 6 but would like to purchase iPhone 6 Plus instead. Do I need to pre-register again?

    You do not need to pre-register again. You may select the correct model that you would like to purchase at the appointment booking site that will be announced later on.

  8. May I pre-register if the account is not under my name?

    Pre-registration is done using your NRIC/FIN details. You will need to register under the account holder’s details.

  9. If I did not pre-register previously, will I still be able to purchase the iPhone 6 at the launch event?

    We regret that only customers who have pre-registered for iPhone 6 will be able to book an appointment and purchase at the launch event.

  10. I am currently on the 6th month of my device contract. Am I allowed to re-contract and how much is Early Device Upgrade Fee?

    Yes, you can upgrade your Device after completing at least the first six (6) months of the Device Agreement. An Early Device Upgrade Fee is $500 for customers who have completed between 6-11 months of their contract, $350 for customers who have completed between 12-17 months of their contract and $200 for customers who have completed between 18-20 months of their contract. You shall be required to enter into a new two (2) years Device Agreement upon any upgrade of Device.

  11. I would like to re-contract and purchase the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus. How can I check my eligibility?

    You can check your recontract eligibility via the following modes:

    1. My SingTel App
      - Open My SingTel App and log in with your ONEPass ID and password.
      - Under Usage tab, click on “View My Plan” to view your handset upgrade eligibility date under “Recontract Status” portion.

      For those who have not downloaded the app, kindly do download it from Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Windows Store or BlackBerry World.
       
    2. * 1688
      - Dial * 1688 on your mobile phone.
      - Reply with option '2' to check your handset upgrade eligibility.
      - A reply via SMS will be sent to your mobile phone shortly.
       
    3. SingTel My Account (for personal mobile lines only)
      - Login to SingTel My Account with your ONEPass ID and password.
      - At the Account Summary landing page, click on "Show details and usage" at the bottom of the selected mobile number to see your handset upgrade eligibility date under the “Eligible for recontract” portion.

  12. What are the colours available for the iPhone 6 at launch?

    3 colours (Silver, Space Grey and Gold) of each model are available at launch. Kindly note that Appointment booking will be based on first come first serve basis.

  13. What are the storage sizes available for the iPhone 6 at launch?

    3 storage sizes (16GB, 64GB and 128GB) of each model are available at launch. Kindly note that Appointment booking will be based on first come first serve basis.

  14. I’m the subscriber. Can I authorize a proxy to purchase the iPhone 6 and transact on my behalf during launch event?

    Yes you can. Your proxy needs to bring along an authorization letter, front and back copy of your NRIC/FIN, and the proxy’s NRIC (>21 years)/FIN (E or S pass).

  15. When will SingTel release the pricings of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus?

    More details on pricing will be shared at a later date.

  16. How many units of iPhone 6 can I purchase at launch?

    Each customer can purchase a maximum of 2 sets of iPhone 6 per NRIC that has pre-registered.

  17. When and where is the launch event for iPhone 6?

    The launch event will be at Marina Bay Sands from 19-21 Sept 2014.

  18. When will the iPhone 6 be available for sale islandwide?

  19. Can I purchase the iPhone 6 at the recommended retail price (RRP) without any mobile contract?

  21. What kind of SIM card does the iPhone 6 require? Will there be any SIM card charge?

    The iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus uses a Nano SIM. Change of SIM will be required for existing SingTel Mobile customers who are on a regular/micro-SIM card. Prevailing SIM card charges of $37.45 apply.

  22. How can I transfer my existing contacts to the new iPhone 6?

    You can use SingTel’s Store & Share to transfer your existing contacts to the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus. Click here for more information on SingTel’s Store & Share.

  23. Can I trade in my old phone when I purchase the iPhone 6?

    Yes, you can trade in your mobile phone at prevailing trade-in prices to offset the price of your new iPhone 6. Please be reminded to bring along your old device with any other accessories that form the basic phone package.

  24. What is 4G and how can I enjoy 4G on my iPhone 6?

    Commonly known as fourth generation mobile network and technically termed as Long Term Evolution (LTE), 4G offers you with speeds faster than 3G. SingTel's 4G service is available to customers who sign up or re-contract on data-bundled plans. For more info on SingTel 4G, please click here.

  25. I have pre-registered and page showed registration was successful. How come I did not receive any SMS or email confirmation subsequently?

    The SMS will be sent to the mobile line you have pre-registered with. For the email confirmation, you may wish to check the junk folder of your mail.

  26. Why other users are able to use VoLTE function with iPhone, but SingTel 4G ClearVoice users are not able to use this service with their iPhone?

    SingTel’s network is VoLTE-ready and we conduct rigorous testing on every device because customer experience is very important to us. At this stage, we are conducting the final stages of testing and 4G ClearVoice on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available soon for all iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus customers on SingTel’s 4G network when it is fully compatible. 4G customers using iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus can experience the fastest 4G speeds while surfing and streaming on SingTel’s 4G network.
