SingTel Combo Mobile Plans
What is a SingTel Combo Mobile plan?

SingTel Combo Mobile plans are a new set of price plans that come with bigger value bundled with more minutes, SMS and local data. On top of that, the plans are equipped with unlimited SingTel WiFi (till 31st Jul 2015, thereafter it will be 2GB per month) at most popular hotspots in Singapore including shopping malls and major MRT interchanges. Offering customers a new mode of accessing mobile data where speed and connectivity matters, the new plans ensure customers stay seamlessly connected whenever they enter SingTel WiFi hotspots.

Who is eligible to sign up for Combo plans?

All residential, CIS, Corporate and SME customers are eligible to sign up for Combo plans.

When will the new set of Combo Plans be effective?

The new set of price plans will be effective from 19th August 2014.

I cannot find my current price plan info on SingTel website. Can I recontract to my current mobile plan?

The plans featured on the SingTel website are the new Combo plans. The current price plans (SuperLite, Lite, Value, Plus & Prestige) are no longer available for new sign ups or re-contracting. All new sign ups and re-contract has to be on the new Combo plans which come with more benefits.

What will happen to my existing plan if I do not re-contract?

Customers will not be forced to migrate to the new Combo plan. However we strongly encourage you to re-contract to a Combo plan so you can enjoy bigger bundled value and unlimited SingTel WiFi.

My mobile line is temporarily suspended (TOS) at $5 per month / temporarily suspended due to loss. With the new Combo plans, will I be able to refit my mobile line based on the previous Plans?

Yes. The monthly subscription and the price plan bundle will be refit to the previous mobile plan unless a change of plan is requested upon reconnection. Change plan policy applies.

What will happen to my Youth, Silver and Special Lite discount currently I’m enjoying?

Customer will still continue to enjoy the discount within contractual period (24mths). Thereafter prevailing rates apply. Customer will ONLY enjoy the Combo benefits together with the Silver/Youth/Special discount with new sign-ups or recontract to these new plans.

Am I eligible for the multi-line discount if I sign up Combo (Youth/Silver/Special)?

No. The multi–line discount does not apply on top of the Combo discounts that currently customer is enjoying.

I am currently on Easy Mobile Plan. Can I change to Combo plan?

Yes, you can! However, you must complete at least 21 months of the contract for your current postpaid mobile plan. For easy reference, you will receive a new billing account for your Easy Mobile plan.

I am currently on Combo plan. Can I change to Easy Mobile plan?

No. Customer is unable to change from Combo plan to Easy Mobile plan at this moment.

What is the typical SingTel WiFi download speed range of the new Combo plan?

The table shows the comparisons of various types of download speeds by different services. SingTel WiFi is 5X faster than public WiFi with seamless connection.

Combo Plans Terms & Conditions

1. General Mobile Terms & Conditions
1.1 All prices stated include 7% GST.
1.2 There is a one-time registration fee of $10.70 and SIM card fee of $37.45 for applying a new mobile line or additional supplementary line.
1.3 Change of a SIM card is $37.45 for existing Customers.
1.4 Existing postpaid standard mobile plan Customers under a Device Agreement converting to Corporate Individual Scheme price plan has a conversion fee of $80.25.
1.5 Combo Plans, SuperLite, Lite, Value, Plus, Premium, Prestige, iPlans, and BlackBerry mobile plans can enjoy free incoming calls till 31 December 2015.
1.6 An excess local call is charged at 16.05 cents per minute. The charging basis starts from an initial block of 1 minute and subsequent blocks of 6 seconds rounded to the nearest cent on a per call basis. For 1800 Toll Free/1900 Premium Service numbers, standard local call charges apply.
1.7 Each excess SMS is charged at 5.35 cents. Each excess MMS is charged at 32.10¢/MMS (<30KB) or 85.60¢/MMS (>30KB).
1.8 Bundled data on Combo Plans, SuperLite, Lite, Value, Plus, Premium, Prestige, iPlans, and BlackBerry mobile plans are for local usage only.
1.9 Pay per use local data service is pre-activated for all Mobile (Postpaid) mobile plans. Pay per use local data usage is charged at a rate of $0.01/2KB (min. of $0.50/100KB), up to $10.70/GB and capped at $188/month, with effect from 16 October 2013.
(i) Usage within the bundled data shall be computed in blocks of 100KB even if less than 100KB is used; and
(ii) Excess data usage beyond the bundled data and Pay per use local data service shall be charged at a minimum of $0.50/100KB.
1.10 Excess local 3G data usage for SuperLite, Lite, Value, Plus, Premium, Prestige, Blackberry or iPlans with Mobile BroadBand add-on service is charged at up to 1GB at $5.35 and capped at $94/month for unlimited usage. For new and re-contracting 3G customers from 16 September 2013 onwards, excess local data usage is charged at up to 1GB at $10.70 and data capped at $188/month for unlimited usage.
1.11 The typical speed range of surfing on 3G/4G refer to download speeds that you can experience 80% of the time, over a 24-hour period at various locations with 3G/4G coverage. The speed range may vary between users and is subject to device used, hardware and software limitation, 3G/4G network coverage/traffic, distance between user and base station, nature of built-up area, source of website and other external factors. 1.12 Additional standard roaming charges will apply for overseas usage of calls, SMS and data services. Overseas roaming service is not eligible for Youth Customers, installment payment arrangement (IPA) Customers and other foreigner pass holders such as Dependent Pass, Student Pass and Social Visit Pass.

2. 4G Network
2.1 4G service charges will be waived permanently for Customers who sign up or recontract on Combo Plans. For other Mobile Plans, the 4G service charges will be waived for a limited period only. SingTel Mobile reserves the right to levy charges or amend the charges anytime by prior notice to Customers in accordance with SingTel’s General Terms & Conditions of Service.
3. 4G ClearVoice
3.1 4G ClearVoice is a service that is offered to SingTel Mobile Postpaid Customers with 4G service on Combo Plans, SuperLite, Lite, Value, Plus, Premium, Prestige mobile plans and available only with sign up of a new mobile plan or re-contract an existing mobile plan with eligible device.
3.2 4G ClearVoice service is only available for local usage.
3.3 Local call usage is deducted from the bundled minutes on the mobile plan and, if applicable, local call add-ons.
3.4 Free local incoming calls are applicable to 4G voice minutes on Combo Plans, SuperLite, Lite, Value, Plus, Premium, Prestige mobile plans and valid until 31 December 2015.
4. SingTel WiFi Service
4.1 SingTel WiFi (“Service”) will be provisioned, free of charge, for Customers who sign up or re-contract on SingTel Mobile Combo mobile plans (“Combo Plans”).
4.2 The Service will commence on 19 August 2014 and end on 31 July 2015 ("Free Service Period"). The Service will be offered, free of charge, only during the Free Service Period, regardless of the time of application. SingTel Mobile reserves the right to levy charges or amend the charges anytime by prior notice to Customers in accordance with SingTel’s General Terms & Conditions of Service.
4.3 From 1 August 2015, Customers on Combo Plans will get free 2GB SingTel WiFi bundle. Any usage in excess of this free bundle will be deducted from the Customer’s regular local data bundle. The prevailing excess charges for local data usage will apply if Customers use beyond the total data bundle of their Combo Plans.
4.4 SingTel Mobile does not guarantee the suitability of the Service for any specific application or purpose intended by the Customer. Signal strength may vary or fail altogether due to certain factors which are not within SingTel Mobile's control, including, but not limited to, building structure, building material, natural or artificial barriers, electrical or electromechanical interference and/or weather conditions. SingTel Mobile shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such interference or failure.
4.5 Typical download speed is the range of download speed that the Customer can experience 80% of the time on SingTel WiFi. The speed range may vary between users and is subject to device used, hardware and software limitation, distance between user and WiFi access point, source of website and other external factors.
4.6 The Customer accepts and agrees that SingTel Mobile does not warrant that the Service will be provided uninterrupted or free from errors or that any identified defect will be corrected.
4.7 SingTel Mobile shall not be liable to the Customer for any loss, liability, costs and/or damage whatsoever (whether direct, indirect or consequential) in respect of any matter howsoever arising (whether in tort, negligence or otherwise) in connection with the provision and/or use of the Service.
4.8 The Customer agrees not to use the Service in violation of any laws or regulations applicable from time to time; or to misuse the Service in any manner deemed inappropriate by SingTel Mobile; or to allow any use of the Service to interfere with other users' access to and use of the Service.
4.9 SingTel Mobile reserves the right at its absolute discretion to discontinue and/or suspend the Service whether in whole or in part without any liability whatsoever to the Customer.
4.10 SingTel Mobile reserves the right to amend these terms any time by prior written notice to the Customer in such manner as SingTel Mobile deems appropriate.
5. Add-on Services Bundled with Mobile Plan
5.1 New Customers can enjoy free Voicemail for 24 months. Thereafter, Voicemail add-on shall revert to full charges at prevailing rates upon expiry of the promotional period. Customers who opt out of Voicemail can choose to opt in to free Local Missed Call Alert add-on.
5.2 Free Pay As You Roam is automatically provisioned unless Customer opts out or they have subscribed to an AutoRoam add-on. A surcharge will apply to Pay-As-You Roam Customers for overseas usage of calls, SMS and data services. Please refer to http://www.singtel.com/roaming-services for prevailing surcharge information, including roaming rates and SingTel DataRoam Saver plans.
6 Unlimited Local Calls and Local SMS/MMS
6.1 Free Local Calls and local SMS/MMS are to any local mobile number. Customers are to use all unlimited benefits strictly for personal and non-commercial purposes only. This service is conditional on fair usage by Customers, SingTel Mobile shall have the sole discretion to assess whether a Customer’s usage is excessive or abusive in which event SingTel Mobile reserves the right to levy the prevailing charges or revoke the unlimited benefits.
6.2 Customers are to use this service for personal and non- commercial purpose only. To ensure that the activities of some users do not impair the ability of Customers to have access to reliable services, this service is conditional on fair usage by customers and is capped at 10,000 local call minutes, and 50,000 local SMS/MMS.
6.3 Unlimited free local calls are provided solely for live dialogue between, and initiated by, individuals for personal use and may not be used for any other purposes, including, but not limited to: monitoring services, transmission of broadcasts, transmission of recorded material, telemarketing, autodialed calls, other commercial uses, or other connections that do not consist of uninterrupted live dialogue between individuals.
6.4 Unlimited free SMS/MMS may not be used to transmit or facilitate any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, telemarketing, promotional materials, "junk mail", unsolicited commercial or bulk messages; or for activities that will adversely affect the ability of users or systems to use SingTel Mobile's services, or for any other reason that in our sole discretion violates our policy of providing service for individual use.
6.5 SingTel Mobile reserves the right, without notice or limitation, to levy prevailing charges on usage in excess of the cap, or to deny, terminate, modify, disconnect or suspend services if an individual engages in unfair usage or if SingTel Mobile, at its sole discretion, determines that action is necessary to protect the network from harm or degradation.
6.6 v019 add-on is not available for sign up with unlimited local calls.
7. SingTel Price Plan Voucher
7.1 Customer subscribed to either iThree Plus, Premium 1500, Premium, Prestige or Combo12 mobile plan will be rewarded with a free device upgrade voucher upon fulfilling 12 months of the mobile contract.
7.2 Voucher is issued once every 12 months to active Customer on eligible mobile plan. The voucher is valid for 12 months.
7.3 Voucher is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
7.4 Unless otherwise stated, voucher can be combined with other vouchers issued by SingTel, except another SingTel Price Plan voucher.
7.5 Other terms and conditions for usage of voucher apply.
8. Youth Benefits
8.1 Students with a valid student pass and full-time NSFs with a valid 11B identity card can apply for a Youth mobile plan.
8.2 Youth promotional rates if applicable are valid for 24 months from date of sign up; thereafter prevailing standard mobile plan rates will apply.
8.3 Unlimited SMS/MMS, Campus/Camp calls and 1GB local data (promotional for Combo2 and Combo3 plans) is free for 24 months from the date of sign up. Thereafter, these benefits shall cease upon expiry of the promotional period.
8.4 Free local SMS/MMS are to any local mobile number.
8.5 Free Campus/Camp calls are capped at $30/month at Campus/Camp zones. Airtime deduction will follow the following sequence:
• Mobile plan local call bundle
• TalkMore add-on
• Free Campus/Camp calls
9. Silver Plan Benefits
9.1 Singaporeans/PRs aged 55 years old and above can apply for one (1) Silver mobile plan.
9.2 Promotional subscription rate is valid for 24 months from date of sign up; thereafter prevailing standard mobile plan rate will apply.
9.3 Subscriptions to additional lines are subjected to the prevailing standard mobile plan rate.
10. Special Plan Benefits
10.1 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) with valid PWDs concession card can sign up for one (1) Special mobile plan. Promotional subscription rate is valid for as long Customer is on this plan. Any change in mobile plan shall cease the promotional rate.
10.2 Subscriptions to additional lines are subjected to the prevailing standard mobile plan rate.
10.3 Unlimited SMS/MMS, additional 200 minutes and 2GB local data is free on this plan. Any change in mobile plan shall cease these benefits.
11. MobileShare Supplementary Plan
11.1 Each main line is eligible to sign up for 3 supplementary mobile lines, inclusive of any combination of MobileShare, RedPac, RedPac Plus or DataShare lines.
11.2 The main line has to be subscribed to an eligible mobile plan. Eligible mobile plans are Combo Plans, SuperLite, Lite, Value, Plus, Prestige and Mobile Broadband Plans that are 10GB plans and below.
11.3 Each MobileShare subscription has to be tied to a main SingTel postpaid Mobile Customer who is eligible to subscribe to a supplementary line. Residential, Corporate Individual Scheme and SME Customers are eligible. UEN(Unique Entity Number) subscribers are not eligible.
11.4 Local calls: Customers on MobileShare Supplementary Plan will enjoy free incoming calls only if the MobileShare line is tied to a main mobile plan with free incoming calls. MobileShare line that is tied to a Mobile Broadband plan will incur prevailing pay-per-use charges for both incoming and outgoing calls.
11.5 Local SMS/MMS usage: If the main line is a mobile plan, the local SMS/MMS and data bundle will be shared between the main line and the MobileShare Supplementary plan. Unused local calls/sms/data cannot be carried forward to the following month. If the main line is a data plan, prevailing pay-per-use charges apply.
11.6 Local data: Excess local data usage incurred by the MobileShare line will be billed to the main line. The excess charges will be based on prevailing rates. Additional 500MB free local data per MobileShare line per month will commence from the activation date of the respective MobileShare line.
11.7 If the parent line is terminated, the MobileShare line will automatically be converted to SuperLite. A 3-month service contract applies from the date of conversion.
12. Mobile Multi-Line
12.1 Customers who have signed up for SingNet mio Home/mio Plan/Fibre Entertainment Bundle/Fibre Home Bundle are eligible to participate in this Mobile Multi-Line Nomination discount promotion ("Eligible Customer").
12.2 This promotion is only available to the prevailing SingTel postpaid Mobile plans: Combo Plans, SuperLite, Lite, Value, Plus, Prestige, Easy Mobile Plans, ("Eligible Discount Lines").
12.3 The following mobile plans: SuperSIM Plans, Silver Plans, Youth Plans, Lite Special Plan, Staff/FOSS/Staff & Family Plans, Easy Mobile Plans and Corporate Individual Scheme plans are eligible for nomination to count towards the total mobile lines solely for the purpose of determination of the applicable discount rate as stated in clause 6 below ("Eligible Non-Discount Lines"). For the avoidance of doubt, such Eligible Non-Discount Lines will not enjoy the actual Mobile Multi-Line Nomination discount under this promotion.
12.4 mio Home/mio Plan/Fibre Entertainment Bundle:
• The Eligible Customer must subscribe to a minimum of one Eligible Discount Line which will be designated as the key line ("Key Mobile Line").
• Key line which is enjoying Easy Mobile Plans or Corporate Individual Scheme rates is not eligible to enjoy waivers of annual device upgrade charges.
• The Eligible Customer with a Key Mobile Line will be allowed to nominate any Eligible Discount Line and Eligible Non-Discount Line (for the purpose of computing the discount rate as stated in clause 3 only) provided that the NRIC address of the account holder of the nominated line is the same NRIC address as that of the Eligible Customer.
12.5 Fibre Home Bundle: The Eligible Customer can subscribe to a maximum of one Eligible Discount Line.
12.6 After initial application and nomination by the Eligible Customer, SingTel Mobile will determine the accuracy of the nomination and the applicable discount rate before allotting the discount to the Eligible Discount Lines. The Key Mobile Line and Eligible Discount Lines will enjoy a discount on the monthly subscription fee, excluding add-on services and usage charges, as follows:
• Mobile Multi-Line with mio Home/mio Plan/Fibre Entertainment Bundle
i. 1 mobile line: 10% off monthly subscription
ii. 2 mobile lines: 15% off monthly subscription
iii. 3 mobile lines: 20% off monthly subscription
iv. 4 mobile lines: 25% off monthly subscription
v. 5 mobile lines: 30% off monthly subscription
• Mobile Multi-Line with Fibre Home Bundle
i. 1 mobile line: 10% off monthly subscription
12.7 The applicable discount rate will be determined by SingTel Mobile on a monthly basis (on the 1st day of each calendar month) based on the actual eligible active lines that are not suspended or terminated during the previous calendar month. If a nomination is made after the 1st day of any calendar month, the nomination will be determined by SingTel Mobile on the 1st day of the following calendar month and the discount will be reflected in the respective eligible bills in the calendar month following the month of determination. Mobile Multi-Line Nomination discounts will only be effective in the following month's bill if nomination is done before 20th of the month.
12.8 If a nominated mobile line is found to be registered under a different NRIC address in SingTel Mobile's system, the nomination will be rejected. SingTel Mobile's decision on the counting of the Eligible Non-Discount Lines, application of the discount to the Eligible Discount Lines or rejection of nominations shall be final and conclusive.
12.9 All existing mobile contracts applicable to the Key Mobile Line and nominated mobile lines will remain valid and unchanged.
12.10 Mobile Multi-Line Nomination discount is not applicable to Business Registered Customers and BroadBand on Mobile plans.
12.11 Mobile Multi-Line Nomination discount is not valid with any other discounts or promotions (SuperSIM Plans, Silver Plans, Youth Plans, Lite Special Plan, Staff/FOSS/Staff & Family Plans, Easy Mobile Plans and Corporate Individual Scheme) unless otherwise stated.
12.12 All discounts will cease upon termination of SingNet mio Home/mio Plan/Fibre Entertainment Bundle/Fibre Home Bundle by the Eligible Customer.
12.13 SingTel Mobile reserves the right to discontinue or terminate this promotion at any time without notice. Customers will not be entitled to any refund or compensation in respect of such termination.
13. Port-in Service
13.1 “Port-In Service” means a service provided by SingTel Mobile which allows a Customer to retain his non-SingTel Mobile postpaid mobile number by porting his line from his current mobile service provider (“Donor”) to a SingTel Mobile postpaid line. Customer consents to the release of Customer’s information to a third party central number port service provider and/or the Donor for the purpose of activating the Port-In Service.
13.2 Customer agrees to pay all outstanding charges to the Donor, including pre-termination charges, if any, prior to the activation of the Port-In Service.
13.3 Upon commencement of the Port-In Service, Customer’s existing contract with the Donor shall automatically terminate.
13.4 If the Port-In Service request is rejected by SingTel Mobile for any reason, the Customer shall resolve any outstanding issue(s) with the Donor within the fourteen (14) days of the date of the Customer’s signing of the Port-In Service agreement with SingTel Mobile. If Customer fails to resolve any outstanding issue(s) with the Donor within fourteen (14) days of the date of the Customer’s signing of the Port-In Service agreement with SingTel Mobile, then Customer shall pay SingTel Mobile, immediately on demand, (i) the device subsidy as stated in the Device Agreement (if any) and (ii) cancellation charges for blank SIM card or pre-termination charges for pre-activated SIM card.
14. Mobile Number Scheme for Golden / Special / Incident Numbers
14.1 Customers may request to pay for the right to use specific Golden/Special/Incident Mobile Numbers (“Number”). SingTel reserves the right to reject any application, and to have the final decision on number allocation in the event of a dispute.
14.2 If a request is successful, the cost of the Number will be billed to the customer’s next SingTel bill.
14.3 The customer shall activate the Number on a SingTel Mobile Postpaid subscription within fourteen (14) days of obtaining the Number under the Golden Number Scheme. If the Number is not activated within fourteen (14) days, the customer will cease to have the right to use the Number. SingTel Mobile will have the absolute right to deal with the Number as it deems appropriate without being liable to the customer for any loss or damages. SingTel will not refund any amount paid by customer for the Number.
14.4 The customer shall pay the cost of the Number by the due date stipulated in the customer’s SingTel bill. SingTel Mobile shall have the absolute right to retrieve and re-circulate the Number to another customer if the cost of the Number is not paid in full by the due date.
14.5 Golden numbers may not be resold, transferred or offered in any way whatsoever to a third party without SingTel’s prior approval in writing.
14.6 SingTel Mobile reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions of this Golden Number Scheme at any time without prior notice.
14.7 SingTel may change or withdraw any Number without prior notice to customer, and without being liable to the customer in damages or otherwise, owing to directions given by the Info-Communications Development Authority of Singapore or any other regulatory authority, or any telecommunications network changes initiated by SingTel Mobile or otherwise.
