Free Unlimited SMS
How long will this promotion be valid?
This promotion is valid from 1 November 2008 to 31 December 2012, and only applicable for new sign up and recontract on a SingTel Mobile Youth Plan made during this period. The FREE Unlimited SMS to any service provider is applicable over the 24-month contract period.
I am an existing SingTel Mobile customer. Can I change my current price plan to iOne Plus Youth / iTwo Value Youth / iTwo Plus Youth?
Yes, you can change if you meet the eligibility criteria.
The free unlimited local SMS for 24 months is only applicable when you do a re-contract on the existing line.
Do note that you will not enjoy certain promotional Value-added Services (eg: Caller ID, VoiceMail, AutoRoam, SMS Plus, Connecting Tones & MP3 Music Pack) as these are only available for NEW sign-ups, and equipment downgrade penalty is applicable if you downgrade from a higher price plan.
After I have changed my price plan, when will I be eligible for equipment upgrade?
You will be eligible for equipment upgrade 12 months from your last equipment purchase. Customers whose last handset upgrade was less than 21 months will have to pay $100 above prevailing equipment offer price.
If I am currently enjoying another price plan offer and my last equipment upgrade is more than 24 months ago, am I eligible to change plans?
Yes, you can choose to change to iOne Plus/ iTwo Value/ iTwo Plus Youth Plan, but existing promotion benefits will cease and will not be re-provided.
If I am currently enjoying the monthly bill rebates, can I take up this promotion?
Yes, you can take up this promotion but the monthly bill rebates will be ceased.
What will happen if I transfer my existing mobile line on a SingTel Mobile Youth Plan to someone else?
Youth price plan is only transferable to an eligible customer who fulfill the criteria. If the transfer is to a non-eligible customer, all promotional Value-added Services and additional benefits will be ceased.
Can I terminate my line anytime? Is there any penalty?
Pre-mature termination will apply accordingly and the charge will depend on the number of months of contract period fulfilled as per stated in the table below:

What if I temporarily suspend (TOS) my mobile line @ $5?
All benefits will be ceased. You will not enjoy the same benefits once your mobile line is re-connected back on a Youth Plan.
Note: Students will need to re-produce their student pass in order to enjoy the FREE 20 MMS and FREE Unlimited SMS upon reconnection to plan.
What is the penalty if my mobile line is temporary disconnect (TD) due to loss?
Temporary disconnect (TD) due to loss of mobile phone is not subject to penalty for 1 month. However, you will need to reconnect within 1 month; otherwise, the current penalty will be imposed.
Note: The mobile line will be ceased during TD.

What is FREE Campus/Camp Calls about?
FREE Campus/Camp Calls is an exclusive benefit on SingTel Mobile Youth Plans which enable users to make free voice/video calls from the premises of 37 tertiary institutions (4 Universities, 5 Polytechnics, 17 ITEs, 11 Junior Colleges) and 11 selected camps to any local fixed line/mobile number (i.e. regardless of which service provider the receiver is using).

Is this applicable to all types of calls made within the Campus/Camp Zones?
FREE Campus/Camp Calls are only applicable for outgoing local voice and video calls made within the Campus/Camp Zones. The receiver can be using a local fixed line or mobile number.
Are the free calls applicable to all numbers?
Yes, the free calls are applicable to all numbers (i.e. SingTel fixed/mobile, StarHub fixed/mobile and M1 mobile number).
Is there any limitation on the free calls?
Yes. The free calls will apply after the bundled airtime (as per your price plan) has been used up. It will be capped at 200 minutes per month (equivalent to $30).
In order to enjoy the free calls, must the person that I am trying to call be within the same Campus/Camp Zones?
No, this is not necessary. You will need to be within the Campus/Camp Zones but the receiver need not be.
Why is Campus/Camp Zones only restricted to these 37 tertiary institutions and 11 selected camps?
We will continue to explore grounds for us to determine feasibility of extending this service to other institutions and camps.
How do I know if I am in the Campus/Camp Zones?
As long as the calls are made within the boundaries of your Campus/Camp Zones, you will be able to enjoy the free calls.
I am an existing student in National Junior College and have activated FREE Campus Calls. Is this offer only applicable in the vicinity of my college?
No, the free calls are applicable to any of the 37 tertiary institutions and even the 11 selected camps as well. Hence, if you are furthering your studies at another of the selected institutions or even serving your national service (at one of the selected camps), you can continue to enjoy this FREE Campus/Camp Calls.
Can I enjoy Free Calls when I am roaming overseas?
No, the Free Calls are only applicable for local calls.
Can I enjoy Free Calls when I make a call outside the Campus/Camp Zones and subsequently move into the zone in the midst of the call?
No, the Free Calls are only applicable for calls initiated within the Campus/Camp Zones.
What is the period of validity that I can enjoy FREE Campus/Camp Calls?
You can enjoy the Free Calls from Campus/Camp Zones for 24 months from the date you sign-up. [This benefit will auto-expire after 24 months.]
Can I continue to enjoy FREE Campus/Camp Calls after 24 months?
Yes, so long as you are still a student studying at any of the 37 tertiary institutions at the point of renewal (please present your valid student pass at the point of renewal). Similarly, you can renew this if you are still a full-time NS man with valid NSF’s 11-B identity card.
What are the charges to activate this FREE Campus/Camp Calls?
There is no registration fee and subscription fee for activating this FREE Campus/Camp Calls.
Will there be any penalty charge if I deactivate FREE Campus/Camp Calls feature?
No, there will be no penalty if you deactivate this feature.
I am not currently subscribed to any of the SingTel Mobile Youth Plans, can I request to activate this FREE Campus/Camp Calls?
No, this feature is exclusively available to subscribers on iOne Plus/iTwo Plus/iTwo Value SingTel Mobile Youth Plan.
If I change my SingTel Mobile Youth Plan to another price plan (e.g. iOne Super Value), can I still enjoy the benefits of FREE Campus/Camp Calls?
No, this feature is only applicable to subscribers on iOne Plus/iTwo Plus/iTwo Value SingTel Mobile Youth Plan. The benefit will cease automatically once you switch to a non-eligible plan.
I have transferred my mobile line to my friend/family. Can my friend/family still enjoy the benefit of FREE Campus/Camp Calls?
No, this benefit will cease automatically with any transfer of ownership. Your friend/family can apply this service separately as long as he/she meets the criteria.
I have activated for FREE Campus/Camp Calls. If I were to change my number, will this benefit be brought forward to my new number automatically?
Yes, if you were to change number but still continue to subscribe to iOne Plus/iTwo Plus/iTwo Value SingTel Mobile Youth Plan, you will continue to enjoy the benefits.
I have activated for FREE Campus/Camp Calls. If there is a voluntary Termination of Service (TOS@$5), can I continue to enjoy the benefits after I re-connect from TOS?
No, this benefit will cease when your mobile line is under TOS. When you re-connect, you will have to activate for FREE Campus/Camp Calls again by producing the valid passes.
I am a current subscriber of Youth Plan and have signed up for TalkMore, can I still activate for FREE Campus/Camp Calls? If yes, what would be the discount knock-off sequence?
Yes, you can still request to activate FREE Campus/Camp Calls. The airtime knock-off sequence is as follows:
