IDD 001


SingTel IDD 001 is a premium service that provides the fastest and most direct means of calling over 240 destinations worldwide. IDD 001 is available on telephone lines and mobile phones with IDD facility, and SingTel payphones.

IDD calls are billed in blocks of 6 seconds.

How to apply for IDD for Personal and Residential use


To activate SingTel's IDD facility on your residential telephone or personal mobile line, please apply through any of the following methods:

Via telephone:
If you are applying for your mobile or fixed Line, call 1688.
If you are applying for your StarHub or M1 line, call 1688.

    To call Indonesian Border Towns, just dial:
    011 (Access code) + Area Code (if any) + Overseas Telephone Number

  4. Operator-Assisted 104 Service
    Operator-assisted international telephone calls are available to most IDD destinations. The number-to-number call can be booked through SingTel's operator-assisted service at 104 where the call is established between the Singapore telephone number and the overseas telephone number. Number-to-Number calls are not available to the following destinations:

    Afghanistan
    Midway Islands
    Tokelau Island

The calls are charged at IDD 001 rates for a minimum duration of 3 minutes and in subsequent blocks of 1 minute. Calls to Malaysia are charged in blocks of 3 minutes.

Note:
The IDD access code 004 (with Call Duration Advice service) has ceased since 1 April 2010. IDD is still available on access code 001. More information can be found in the FAQ section.

    If your application is approved, your SingTel IDD facility will be activated on the working day after we receive your application form.

    You will be charged according to your usage of SingTel’s international call services.

  7. How can I be assured that I will be billed accurately for my overseas calls?
    Your monthly bill will list all overseas calls made within the billing cycle. It will include detailed information like the date and time of each call, the overseas number(s) called, the duration of each call, and the cost incurred for each call.
