You can run any websites, third-party software, server software or customized applications – just as you would with a conventional server.

- What is a virtual server?
The virtual server presents an emulated physical server environment that operating systems operate upon. It is almost fully functional without using an actual physical server and it offers a fast deployment to production. You can now test your environment, backup and restore your system without the concern of server crashes.

- How long does it take to provision virtual servers?
With PowerON ezcompute, you do not need to wait for engineers to provision the servers. The servers will be ready within minutes upon the confirmation of your purchase.

- How do I access my virtual servers once I purchased the service?
The servers are available anytime, by logging onto the PowerON ezCompute online management portal. There, you will find all the tools you need to manage your account and your servers. You can also configure your servers to use common remote access technologies such as Remote Desktop connection for Windows or SSH/VNC for Linux distributions.

- What kind of storage can I buy?
You can buy Compute cloud storage in units of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100GB space. Compute cloud storage works like an external hard drive which can be attached (or mounted) to a virtual server - either as one or more secondary data disks for your virtual server.

You can start small with a minimum of 1 virtual server and scale up to hundreds as your business grows.

- How do ezCompute charge?
You pay only for the services you use, billed on an hourly (usage in partial hours are prorated) or monthly basis with flexible schemes offered by SingTel. Charges will be incurred as long as the Virtual Server instance is running, whether you are using it or not. You can stop and restart your Virtual Server instances any time.
