  1. Who is eligible for mio Plan?

    mio Plan is open to all new and existing SingTel NRIC-registered customers with less than 6 months remaining on their contract period for SingTel Fixed Line, SingTel Mobile and SingNet BroadBand services.

    Customers with existing SingTel Fixed Line, SingTel Mobile and SingNet BroadBand registered under the same NRIC enjoy bundled savings with mio Plan.

  2. I am neither Singaporean nor a permanent resident. Can I sign up for mio Plan and do I need to pay a deposit?

    Yes, you can sign up for mio Plan. A foreign deposit may be required if you are holding a Work Permit, Dependence Pass, Student Pass or Social Visit Pass. Employment Pass or S Pass holders are not required to pay a foreign deposit. Please refer to Foreign Deposit table below:

    For mobile application, other deposits may be required in accordance to SingTel credit policies. This is applicable for all Singaporeans, Permanent Residents and foreigners holding an Employment Pass or S Pass. Please refer to table below:

  3. I am an existing SingTel Mobile and SingNet customer. Can I change my existing plans to mio Plan?

    Yes, as long as less than 6 months remain on your existing contracts. You will also have to sign up for a SingTel Fixed Line.

  4. How long can I enjoy the free value-added services bundled with mio Plan?

    You will enjoy the free services as long as you are still subscribed to mio Plan.

  5. Are there any special handset offers for mio Plan customers?

    Yes. All mio Plan customers may purchase a new handset with a new contract without any surcharge even if there are 12 months remaining on the contract for your existing mobile line.

  6. Is there any penalty for pre-mature termination of mio Plan?

    Yes. If you terminate your mio Plan before your contract ends, you will be charged the mio Plan termination fee and termination fee(s) tied to any existing contract(s) for the terminated services.

    Actual Charges will be calculated based on the following formula:
    (Termination Charges of individual Services ÷ Contract Period) x Number of Remaining Months of the Contract Period (including the month in which termination occurs)

    For customers who have taken a mio Plan Premium Top-Up Option, the termination charges should be calculated in the following manner:
    (mio Plan termination charges) + (Number of remaining months in contract including the month in which termination occurs x Premium Top-Up Amount)

  8. Do I have to purchase a handset when I sign up for mio Plan?

    Yes.

  9. What should I do to transfer ownership of my mio Plan?
    • Both Transferor (the existing subscriber) and Transferee must be present during the transfer. Customers can walk in to any of our Customer Service Counters.
      • The Transferee must be present for the transfer.
      • If the Transferor choose NOT to be present, an authorisation letter stating the transfer and a photocopy of the Transferor’s NRIC must be presented.
    • The Transferee must be eligible to sign up for mio Plan.
    • No changes to the current mio Plan will be allowed after the transfer. The Transferee will continue to enjoy the same free service provided by mio Plan at the bundled price. Eligibility for equipment will remain and continue from the day of mio Plan sign up. The new owner will be eligible for equipment upgrade when there are 12 months remaining on the mio Plan contract.
    • Transferor’s mobile supplementary line(s) will be transferred to a default pricing plan and the existing contractual period of his/her supplementary mobile line(s) will remain.
    • The Transferee will be charged a one-time transfer fee of $21.40. There will also be a fee of $53.30 for installation at the Transferee’s premises. Prices include GST.
  10. What are the charges if I need to temporarily suspend my mio Plan?
